We are slowly getting settled into our new place. The movers arrived late Wednesday, and things were unloaded, beds were made, and then they left. The following day I started to unpack. Boxes upon boxes, that seemed never ending. First things first, the kitchen. It took over a day, but my kitchen is unpacked and 90% organized. Lets be honest, half of all the boxes ended up in the kitchen so with that done, I was halfway through.
The rest of the stuff was more tedious than I would of liked. Having to find new places or spaces for some stuff was slowing down the process. As of now we only have 10 boxes to go! We have realized that we must buy more things to fill this house! The hubby not as thrilled as I am. First thing on our list new couch and loveseat, oh and of course, a new television. Our old one works okay here, but we will not be able to get cable. So a new one it is. The old tele will go in the hubbys man cave. He is so excited that he will have a man cave.
Lo is enjoying our new home! He has so much space to run around, he just can't seem to slow down. After 2 months of living in hotels, he must love all these rooms! He fell down the stairs the other day, and had some brusies. Poor little guy, I think I cried more than he did. Later that evening we pampered him, and spoiled him a bit. But Lo did not learn, he climed up the stairs again and wanted to walk down the stairs like mummy and daddy, without holding on to the side, or crawling back down. We are trying to teach him, though he already knows. We've invested in some gates, to help contain him to certain levels of the home.
