September 14th Baby AC turns 1!

Happy 1st Birthday AC!

Mid September my little guy AC turned 1! Oh how fast did this first year go. We love him so much. He is full of love, and energy. He takes after me a bit too much. LOL. But that is okay.

I love everything about you!

 

Here are my thoughts from that day: 'I wake up early eager to get this day started to celebrate everything about you. As a I turn in my bed I just want to jump up, get dressed and wake you up. I look at the clock it is 6:30am and you are still sleeping. But how can that be, I think to myself. You are usually the one that wakes us up, while I try and get a couple of minute more of sleep. I am too anxious to stay in bed, but I cannot come to terms to waking you up. Daddy is not home, so it is just you, Logan, and I this morning. I tiptoe down the stairs and get breakfast started. I have you favorite: blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries. I make the batter for the waffles, at the bottoms of the stairs straining my ear to hear if there is any movement from your room. Nothing! Come on, get up! I go and cook the traditional birthday waffles and get the ice cream out! Then I hear it. Or I think I do. It is faint at first, so I tiptoe up the stairs and stand outside your door! Yes. You are grunting and getting ready to cry. But oh no, Not today! I walk in before you have a chance to cry, and pick you up in my arms and sing the Good Morning song! You look at me and smile and snuggle in the crevice of my neck. Then I start singing a song you have not heard. You tilt your neck back to take in my face and lips as I sing Happy Birthday.  With a smile on your face you look at me with awe. This of course wakes up brother, who is excited to sing to you as well! With hugs he reaches for you to give you a hug kiss and says Happy Birthday Aaron. The we walk down the stairs for breakfast in our jammies. The only thing that would of made this breakfast perfect would of been if daddy had been there. But your eyes were wide open as we put sparklers on your waffles. You licked off the whipped cream and went straight for the berries. Then you tried the waffle. You were not a big fan of it. But you had fun eating everything else.'

 AC you are a daddy boy, though and through. You want him more than me most of the time, and I am okay with it, now. You love your brother and you love to follow him around.

 You love ice cream and gelato and quickly know who has it and try to get to them to give you some.

 You like to dance to music. You love hearing the primary children sing, and it makes you happy.

 Your hair is brown and it is getting lighter it seems. Your ear hair finally fell off! ha ha.

 This is one of my favorite faces you make. The "I know I am cute" face. You use it often.

 As you can see you have 6 teeth and you love to use them. We are trying to teach you not to bite us. Your brother Lo lets you bite him, and just giggles it off. You think its funny so you do it again, and again.

You are cruzing but you were not walking!
