Filderkrautfest (Cabbage Fest)

Now this post is way out of order, but I had to put it in. I had so much fun. This was in the fall.

 

My town here hosts the Filderkrautfest. It is amazing and we had so much fun. They have tons of food made with cabbage, and so much stuff has saurkraut on it. Some stuff was yummy some not so much. They have a contest to see who can balance cabbage the longest, as well as a mustache contest. The video below is amazing. Notice the person talking to the Burgermeister (our town mayor). He has a nice looking mustache. ha ha.

 So so many cabbages. The only downfall is the smell of rotten cabbages left. Glad we dont have to deal with the smell, others not so lucky.

There is a tractor parade that goes by two towns and surrounding villages.
