We headed to England for a long weekend. A dear friend of ours was getting married, and it was the perfect excuse to go to England. We are so happy that we went. There is nothing like a good wedding. We arrived late on Thursday evening, and stayed with our friends, the Jacksons.(It was sad that they were not all home.)
Here is the couple cutting the cake.
Some friends from Oxfordshire, at the cupcake reception.
Logan having some fun with ballons!
The groom with Logan!
Lo and Daddy walking down the streets in Oxford.
It was such a short trip, but it only being an hour flight, I suspect that we will be making more trips in the near future, or at least I will. We left oxfordshire Saturday afternoon, and head south to Brighton! I had been wanting to visit here when we were living in England a year ago, but we never made it. We stayed with our good friends the Hermans! We had great food, and played games into the wee hours of the night. On Sunday, we walked around town, the pier, and ate freshly cooked doughnuts. Yumm. We, of course, had some rain, that stranded us at a coffee shop. So many places to shop, I will return with an empty suitcase to fill.
On the beach just two blocks of where we stayed. What fun.
Lo and Mike playing with rocks, trying to skip them. Lo loved the beach, even though it was a rocky beach.
Lo just chilling on the beach. Loved playing with the rocks.
Neha and I decided to have a go on these balls. The goal I guess was to walk on them in the water. It did not happen. I face planted in the water a couple of time, and flipped, and splat, and layed there for a bit. So much fun.
Lo and Jonas posing for a picture.
We had such a wonderful time. It just seemed like such a short trip. I really could live in England forever. It was sad leaving, and I eagerly look forward to another trip. Maybe sometime next spring! After all, I think it is important that Logan gets to know the place he was born! ;)

um, how about you move back to England, and we come visit? It seems like a very charming place, and I'm glad you were able to have such a great visit.
