Jet Lag in Stuttgart
I am told the first month is the hardest! My cute, happy, little one, is no longer. He is having the hardest time going down at night. The last two night I put him down at around 9 pm, but wakes up 45 min later, and won't go down until 1 am. So far I have not ventured out much. Our hotel here is already bigger than our flat in Oxford, so that is a promising start. Yesterday evening we went for an afternoon stroll in search of a small local store. The weather was in the 70's, and the sun felt great on us. In a way I felt I was back in England. (I do miss it dearly.) Other than the people driving on the oppoiste side, and things being in German. The road was charming, with many little shops along the way. The tele has a very limited selection of English speaking channels. In my hope of trying to understand the language here I watched Gilmore Girls. I could count the number of words I knew on one hand. I think I will continue with it, when I have time, the show starts in the middle of Logan's nap. Other than that, I am enjoying watching BBC again. Today I had the hope of trying to head to the city center but with rain in the forcast, I decided against it. It a good 15 degrees or more cooler today than yesterday. I will stick to the block around the hotel, maybe go back to the small store we found yesterday evening, now that I have some euro's on me. I keep thinking to myself "WHAT THE HECK AM I DOING IN GERMANY!" I am sure great adventures will follow after all we are only a couple of hours away from Austria, Swizerland, Italy, Belgum, France, and others. Auf Wiedersehen Goodbye

I'm glad that the folks over in Germany have the chance to enjoy the witty repartee of Lorelei and Rory Gilmore. Hope that Logan gets back to his smiling, happy self soon! Post some pictures!
