A Year Older, A Year Wiser

Happy Birthday MIKE!

Yesterday was Mike's 30th birthday! It was a tough one for him. We headed out to the Shenandoah's for a lovely hike, and picnic! So much fun! We came upon a deer trail, and I told Mike it was fresh. Luckily we follow the trail that was on our trail. We came upon them! There were many of them. We continued on our path, and came across more! Logan enjoyed being in the out doors. We stopped at a visitors centers, and there we came upon a skunk! It was a first for Mike seeing them in the outdoors, needless to say, we kept our distance. We did snap a couple photos of it! We came back home, and just hung around. As I got ready to make a cake for him, i hurt my nose. I was looking for something in the pantry, and a tub of frosting fell on it. I thought it was broken, but it was just pain! Oh the things that happen to me. I would post a picture, but its a bit embarrassing.

The month of March has many celebrations, this is the first. With that being said things are starting to get a bit crazy around here. Later this month we will celebrate our anniversary, a brothers, birthday, my father in laws birthday, and this year since we are moving we will celebrate Logan's first birthday this month. On top of that we will be traveling to Utah for a week. Oh and did I mention that our stuff will be packed and shipped by the end of the month! So much to do and there is not enough time. I need to get more organized with my lists! I am so grateful that we will have packers and movers!
