Fun times

"Praise the sports of the land And water, each one. The bath by the beach, or the yacht on the sea. But of all the sweet pleasures Known under the sun; A good game of Croquet's the sweetest to me."

-Reid,Thomas Mayne

Not this past weekend bur the one before our friends Kristy and Miles hosted a BBQ and a fun game of croquet. The lazy sunny afternoon was great weather for such fun. It was our first time playing the game and I love it! I told Mike that I wanted to get a set so that we could play when we go back home. We lost, but I had a couple of decent shots throughout the course. As our time here draws close to an end I am soaking as much of the culture as I can.As the sun went down and the weather got colder we retreated back inside their home to watch the episode of House Hunters International that they were on. It was quiet a riot to watch them on the tele.

Earlier that day we had gone to the ruins at Minster Lovell. It was a small village about 20 minutes North of Oxford. We had rented a car for the weekend so we took advantage of taking in some new sites around Oxfordshire. We should of packed a nice picnic since the area had a nice stream running through it with huge trees on both sides. There were families there enjoying the beautiful weather.
