WinterWonderLand........

Yesterday afternoon it started snowing, and as I look out the window it still is snowing. The official report was that Oxfordshire had received about 15 inches of snow, and we were to expect some more today. This morning Mike and I got all bundled up and headed for the shops in Summertown. Along the way we had more than just a couple of snowball fights. He won, as always, I made great snowballs, but my aim needs improvement. I think it has to do with the shift of gravity I am experiencing due to my pregnancy. Oh well! On the way back the snow ball fight continued, and I made some snow angels. We had tons of fun. I love the snow, and had been missing it. It reminds me of Virginia. And that puts a smile on my face.

A little catching up.

On Christmas Eve Mike and I stayed at home. I made Chinese food, and then we had hot cocoa, and opened one present. We had Christmas music playing in the background, and ate some treats. We snuggled up and watched Holiday in Handcuffs. Not the best made movie, but we sat through it all.

On Christmas Day we were invited to a Traditional Christmas Lunch at the Jackson's. They are friends of ours from the Oxford Ward. There were also two other couples, and it was nice to meet new people. We had Turkey, roasted potatoes, green beans, parsnips, Yorkshire pudding, and so much more. It was loads of fun, we even popped crackers and wore our hats! I am so grateful that we were able to spend the holiday with some friends, so we didn't have to spend it alone. Thanks Miles and Kristy, you were wonderful hosts!

When our friends came last week, they brought with the presents from family, and from them. Among them were the first gifts for our little Baby Bowerbank! Sooo cute! Thanks Megan and Amanda. A couple of days later, I bought a little something for our little man too.

The snow looks cold but fun. I love the snow Angel. Of course you didn't win b/c of your balance thing with pregnancy otherwise, he would have been in trouble.

Glad you had a wonderful Christmas! I wish ya'll weren't so far away. When are you coming back this way. We want to make sure we get to help welcome little man into the world.
