So have you ever heard of MRSA. Well I hadn't till I had it in my ear. Apparently its a super bug that is hard to fight off. After 2 weeks of different antibiotics I feel much more like myself. My ear had been hurting for a while, but thought nothing of it till I went to the doctor. Upon examination of my ear the doctor said that nothing was wrong. I told her that I would not have made an appointment if I thought nothing was wrong. She said she would do a culture on my ear, but really didn't think she would find anything. She referred me to a Ear, Nose specialist just in case there was something she was not seeing. Made the appointment, the specialist told me the same thing, Nothing seemed wrong. A week later I get a call from my doctor telling me that I need to get on some antibiotics because I had MRSA! I am glad that I feel so much better.
We have started to paint our apartment. Things are coming together as we prepare for the big move. As of today we have officially one month to go. I am getting pretty excited. We were originally leaving on Monday 21, but the flight was moved to Sunday. We have a layover in Dublin. I was able to find some really cheap one way tickets. 256 from DC to London! Way good deal. If you want some cheap flight, try http://www.aerlingus.com/ . We got our housing, and we will be living in North Oxford, Summertown is the name of the area. It looks so cute, with all the shops, stores, and homes.
For those who have traveled to UK what are some musts that we must do?!

Sorry about the MRSA. I guess it really shows that you know your own body (despite what a doctor says).
I'm glad you're feeling better. Crazy how docs can miss things. That was my story with strep the first time. I felt miserable and it took a few days for the culture to come back positive. The wonderful health center at BYU gave me some terrible medicine that sent me to the hospital. The Dr. at the hospital said he wasn't sure why they gave me that medicine b/c it's known to upset your stomach. Crazy!
I can't believe ya'll are about to move overseas. you'll have to give us some good updates so we can travel vicariously through you. Take lots of pics!
Okay here are some musts...
1. there is a stonehenge place that is on the border of Northern Ireland and the UK, but it is huge. There is a tiny little pub in the middle of it, and a great place to visit.
2. Take in the castles that are around as it will be a time that you will be able to spend and not worry about the time or the cost.
3. Get to know the little pubs, they all usually have great food that is inexpensive when it comes to eating in the UK.
4. Learn the train system, I wish I had used this but there is always next time.
Sorry about the infection, but alas it happens!
glad you are feeling well and most of all how awesome is it that you will be living in england for a while!?! how far is is from london?
so excited for you, that will be lot of fun!
