Home Alone

Mike has been out of town for most of this week and I am here alone. I totally hate it. So to help time pass I have been doing Christmas shopping, and I am so happy i am almost done.

Well here is a recap.

Thanksgiving we had it here at our home. I invited a co worker and her husband who don't have any family to join us for dinner. It was so much fun. They are much older, but it was fun.

I went shopping on Black Friday and got some mega deals. I am still not sure if it was worth waiting outside in the cold for over an hour and a half. The waiting sucked to be honest but the deals rocked. I have come to a conclusion...you need a partner in crime when out on black Friday. I hit up wal-mart with a friend and it worked out pretty good, but then she had to go to work. I went to Kohl's. In order to cut time in half it would of been nice if one got in line to pay, and the other shopped around. Then switch places. The line there was over 2 hours. And yes i stood there that long. In the end i don't think it was worth it at Kohl's.

Saturday as Mike promised we went and got our Christmas tree. In my family we usually put it up the day after thanksgiving but I was too tired after all the shopping. It is so cute.

Other than that I just finished taking my midterm. I know it sounds weird but my class ends in February. Oh well, with all this alone time I have had a chance to study.

Now I know many of you know how much I am in love with the twilight saga books and you are probably wondering if I liked the movie. Ummm. Not so much. The second time around I was able to enjoy it more, but like the harry potter movies, in my opinion the first was pretty bad, but as they filmed more they got better. So I hope that happens with the second book. Would I go see Twilight again. Yes! Why because I can.

I hate being alone when Matt is out of town. For some reason the house gets creepy.

Black fridays are crazy! We didn't spend a lot of time out this year but we found a few good deals. I agree, you need someone to buddy with. Also, taking your kid with you is the pits. I'll note that to myself for next year.
