Cherry Blossoms

So spring is in the air. We have been getting a mixture of beautiful sunny days, as well as cloudy, rainy days. One of the most fascinating things about living in this area is, the vast beauty that we have around us. When I first moved here, I usually would drive around the city in awe, but after a while I forget what a blessing it is to live here in the nations capital. The cherry blossoms look beautiful with the Jefferson memorial in the background.

So I have recently had a series of allergy testing done on my skin, and for those who know me pretty well, know that for many years now I have been highly allergic to nuts, but when the testing was done, the results said that I was not allergic to nuts. I questioned the doctor and he responded by sending me off to get blood testing to verify his results. I quickly asked him if it was okay for me to go home and eat a peanut butter sandwich!!! He told me not yet, he would let me know as soon as the blood work comes in. So I am keeping my fingers crossed, I can almost taste that creamy peanut butter and banana sandwich. It has been 10 years since I have enjoyed peanut butter, almonds and all other nuts.

In other news, school is going great! I have written some pretty good papers for my English class, and have an A+ so far. W00hoo!!!

Mike is in a Fantasy Baseball League and his name is MASTER BATTERS!

We started Old English Country , you know the dancing they did in Pride & Prejudice!

We are attending a dress-up Ball this Saturday, that is why we are taking the dance lessons.
